The BMW Center has announced the topic for its 2013-2014 Event Series: Austerity and Precarity in Europe. The first lecture in this series featured Richard Sennett of the London School of Economics and New York University. He gave a lecture entitled, "Beyond the Crisis: The European Social Compact Comes Apart."
