Work Experience: Previously, I worked as a research assistant, focusing on Russo-American and British relations in the 20th century. Specifically, I studied questions of sovereignty, trade, political narrative construction, and their implications in the post-Soviet space. Following graduation from Wesleyan University, I worked as a litigation paralegal on white-collar investigations and complex business litigation matters.
Why I Chose MAES: I chose the M.A.E.S. program due to its focus on interdisciplinary study, allowing me to explore my interests across foreign relations and international law. Additionally, I was drawn to the exceptional faculty, the emphasis on work-experience, and the broader access to the dynamic Washington D.C. environment.
