Irwin National Training Center, primarily assigned to Special Forces and Legal Teams; Internships and Volunteer work for various CA Senate and Assembly campaigns.
Why I Chose MAES: I always knew I wanted to pursue a Master’s Degree following my undergrad. After my former professors Allen Greb (San Diego State), Luca dal Pubel (San Diego State), and Juan Salcedo Martinez (Universidad Europea de Madrid) encouraged me to pursue my Master’s at Georgetown, it was never a question whether or not MAES would be the right choice for me. With my passion for foreign policy, transatlantic security, and diplomacy, tying in my Slavic background and work experience closely related to European affairs, MAES offers me the opportunity to continue my education in my field of interest, providing unparalleled access to world-class faculty, leaders, and practitioners. What ultimately set MAES apart was its interdisciplinary approach, allowing me to explore a broad range of topics rather than specialize in one region or issue.
