Work Experience: With experience at the intersection of UN, EU, and regional institutions, my work spans multilateral diplomacy, energy policy, and international public engagement. I have served as a United Nations Youth Representative and Delegate and as a Young European Ambassador, contributing to work on EU integration, international development through UNDP, and sustainable development. I have also represented perspectives and policy proposals from across 18+ Eurasian countries and territories at major international forums, including UN COP Climate Conferences and high-level meetings across global UN headquarters, and have worked with policymakers and government representatives across four continents.
Why I Chose MAES: My work has gradually expanded from the post-conflict Western Balkans, across Europe and Eurasia, and ultimately into global policy spaces. Throughout that journey, one constant has been the intersection of Europe and the United States, whether through diplomacy, security, or democratic cooperation. As an alumna of U.S. State Department transatlantic fellowships, MAES felt like the natural next step: an opportunity to deepen my regional expertise and understanding of Europe, building on my lived experience while placing that work within the broader transatlantic relationship. At the world’s leading School of Foreign Service, I saw the ideal environment to combine rigorous academic research and close engagement with leading practitioners as an aspiring scholar and regional decision-maker myself.
