Class of 2027
Hometown: Stuttgart, Germany
Education: Ruprecht Karl Universität Heidelberg: BA American Studies (Focus: Political Science and Religious Studies)
Academic & Research Interests: My fields of interest are counterterrorism strategy, gender and security, substate violence, and the role of international institutions in international relations.
Work Experience: I had the opportunity to intern as a field organizer with the Pennsylvania Democratic Party for the Harris-Walz campaign leading up to the presidential election. I coordinated voter outreach and supported strategic campaign efforts during the critical election cycle.
Why I chose MAGES: I chose MAGES because the program and the SFS as a whole offer the opportunity to combine my academic interests, like security and gender. The program stood out to me because of its interdisciplinary approach and perspectives that aim towards shaping European and global affairs. Beyond academia, I was drawn to the supportive Hoya community and am looking forward to becoming a part of it.
