Why I chose MAES: I chose MAES because it was the program the perfectly combined my academic interests right in the heart of political life in the US. The professors, coordinators, current students and alumni that I met during my application process were open and honest about their experiences which were overwhelmingly positive. It was the only program where I really saw myself not just fitting in, but thriving. I was excited about everything from the course offerings, to the internship opportunities, to the semester at the Hertie School. I chose MAES because I know I will learn the most from this program and that it will help me find a career after I graduate, that I’ll not only love but succeed in.
