Academic & Research Interests: Diplomacy, Transatlantic Relations, Security, U.S. and German Foreign Policy
Work Experience: After nearly a decade of work experience in the German private sector, I have recently been engaged in fostering transatlantic dialogue as Program Assistant at the German American Business Council of Washington, D.C. and as the Transatlantic Ambassador Intern with the State Chancellory’s Office of Bilateral Foreign Relations and the State Liaison Office of the U.S. Forces in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.
Why I chose MAGES: Coming with a breadth of experience in U.S.-Germany relations, I was drawn to the interdisciplinary nature of the coursework. The MAGES program allows me to deepen my knowledge of transatlantic issues, build a network with like-minded people, and learn from esteemed academics and practitioners in the field, all while enjoying the benefits of living and working in Washington, D.C.
