Academic & Research Interests: Nuclear policy, Arms Control, Deterrence, and Russia-Europe relations
Work and Research Experience: Throughout my undergraduate degree I engaged in research focused on U.S.-Russia Arms Control and interned at the U.S. Department of State in their Office of Policy and Regional Affairs. My interests in Europe and Russia have continued into my time at MAGES and I am currently pursuing the CERES certificate and concentrating on Europe and Russia security policies. I have interned at the Wisconsin Project on Nuclear Arms Control, Institute for the Study of War and have completed academic research on Russian military thought, U.S.-Russia Arms Control treaties, and deterrence theory while at MAGES. In the fall of 2023, I will be interning at the Nuclear Threat Initiative on the Global Nuclear Policy team to continue expanding my knowledge of nuclear policy and researching the emerging role of China in this space and how it affects Europe and Russia.
