Why I Chose MAGES: Ironically, I feel that MAGES explicitly is tailored for me instead of the other way around. Towards the end of my CBYX exchange year (2015), my intentions have been towards understanding international governmental cooperation, especially between Germany and the US. Therefore, I wanted to surround myself with others who focused on strengthening the Transatlantic relationship at all angles. Thus, MAGES is an opportunity for me to use the transferable and practical skills I learned in a transatlantic setting and apply them towards service-oriented diplomacy in the field.
Intended Academic Focus: International Political Trends, Election Security, Conflict Prevention, and NATO
