Neil Walther
Assistant to the President at the German Marshall Fund of the United States
Neil Walther graduated in 2014 and works as the Assistant to the President at the German Marshall Fund of the United States in Washington, DC.
"I chose the MAGES program because of its reputation as the premier location to study European affairs in the world. In addition to the BMW Center’s staff and resources, Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service offers a wide array of offerings in other regional studies. My focus on both European and Middle Eastern studies was a perfect fit for Georgetown. Simply put, the MAGES experience is the only reason I am off to an exciting start to my career. Georgetown helped open the door to the foreign policy world in Washington and introduced me to the people and institutions that I now interact with on a daily basis. In my current role as the Assistant to the President at the German Marshall Fund of the United States, I help our president manage a transatlantic organization with over one hundred and fifty staff and eight transatlantic offices."
