Education: Xavier University, Major in International Studies and Political Science; Concentration in International Business: Minors in Spanish and Peace & Justice Studies
Academic & Research Interests: Multilateral Diplomacy, Globalization, Nationalism and Populism, International Political Economy
Work and Research Experience: During my undergraduate degree, I had a research focus on Brexit and U.S. Foreign Policy, as well as interned under the Mayor’s office of Cincinnati, which gave me insights into local public policy. My interest in transatlantic relations and diplomacy led me to the MAGES program. I am currently a research assistant for visiting professor Juan Luis Manfredi, focusing on projects on globalization. Also, I am pursuing the ISD graduate certificate. This past summer, I interned for the Chairman, Senator Gary C. Peters, of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. Also, this upcoming Fall, I will intern under the Office of Global Programs and Policy under the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs at the State Department.
